Tell St. Mary’s County Commissioners You Oppose Their Tax Hike Plan

Dear St. Mary’s County Commissioners,

I oppose your plan to increase property taxes AND income taxes in our community this year.

Further, I am disappointed that you would call for high taxes while also HIKING spending by more than $10 million dollars over what the county spent last year.

The people of St. Mary’s County are not your personal ATM machine.

If you approve these tax-and-spend increases this spring, you are taking more money out of the pockets of working families and local business owners.

That is not the right decision for our community, especially when financial analysts expect the American economy to weaken in the coming year.

Please do your job and protect the taxpaying citizens of St. Mary’s County.

Thank you Commissioner John O’Connor for being the only Commissioner to oppose this tax hike plan thus far.
